The Waikuku Arts Incorporated exhibition which is held annually on the second weekend of February was a great success and I was very pleased to sell a couple of my watercolour paintings. The exhibition displays work from artists who live in the Waikuku (north of Christchurch) area and displays a wide range of work. the standard is high considering that all exhibitors come from a small geographical area.
I have been working pretty energetically on my painting, completing at least one work each week. Here are some of my latest works. The picture of Whitby is larger than most of my work, and is painted on a full sheet (760mm by 560mm)of watercolour paper while the others are on half sheets.
